Bloch Fellowship in Quantum Science and Engineering

The Stanford-SLAC Quantum Initiative, Q-FARM, invites applications for the 2023 Bloch Fellowships in Quantum Science and Engineering. Named after the pioneering Stanford scientist Felix Bloch in honor of his wide-ranging quantum mechanical discoveries and inventions, these fellowships are intended for the next generation of researchers blazing a similarly innovative trail.

Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics Postdoctoral Fellows

The Stanford Institute for Theoretical Physics (SITP) is searching for postdoctoral fellows across the full range of theoretical physics. Particular areas of focus this year will include quantum field theory and string theory, cosmology and quantum gravity, particle physics and phenomenology and quantum information science. SITP enjoys fruitful interactions with the Q-FARM initiative in quantum sciences at Stanford, as well as with the Stanford mathematics department. Simons funded initiatives including It from Qubit, Modern Inflationary Cosmology, and Ultra-Quantum Matter are also all represented at Stanford and contribute to the lively atmosphere for postdocs in SITP.
